We were excited last week to be invited by Karen, one of Joe's sargeants, to her home for dinner and to feed the horse she had "visiting" to eat down some of her land. Chloe talked of nothing else for the week leading up to the visit, but when we actually got there, they were excited to see the horse from far away, but were very hesitant to get close, let alone feed the horse a carrot or hay. Here are some pictures and video from our evening!

Jen you are so cute! You are REALLY making me want to chop my hair off . . .
Hi Jen! It has been so long- You are still as beautiful as ever and your kids are darling!!
Looking at this makes me want to have land with a horse or two on it. I think in my mind I have this idealized vision of owning a horse, but the reality of it would be very different. I like Noah's face when Nick is holding him. He seems so unsure. I also like that it looks like you are throwing him to the horse. Your little ones are so cute. We are going to miss them so much when you guys move.
cute pics... I think your kids are smart to be intimidated by an animal that weighs that much and is that strong! My kids love horses and my oldest daughter is a good rider... it freaks me out watching her go fast on an animal that at any moment could end her life. Yes, I'm dramatic but that's how I feel when I am around it... needless to say Kyle and Adia prefer me stay home.
