Parent Show & Tell Day

Still playing catch up with our activities of late - I think it's a record that I have blogged three separate times in one day. I think I might be finally done for the day too.

This latest post concerns Chloe's preschool and their recent parent show and tell week. Parents had the opportunity to come and share about their job or a talent they have. Chloe came home the day she heard about it and told, not asked, Joe that he would be coming in his police car to visit her class. Having done this last year as well, Chloe was excited to have him come again. He is so cute with the kids and it is fun to see this side of him being a police officer. Also, it was hilarious to see the parents who, as they picked their kids up, were curious as to why a police car was parked out front or were just afraid of Joe because of previous ticketing experiences with other police officers. They didn't know they were seeing a softie in police officer clothing.

Leaving with junior police officer stickers and telling of getting to turn on lights and sirens, and speak into the loudspeaker the kids definitely thought Joe was the coolest. Chloe later told me her favorite was the dentist that came bearing toothbrushes, but I think that's just because she lives with her hero dad everyday.
